The Gymini Athletics Pre-School Playhouse is focused on our future athletes...pre-schoolers. We offer 3 levels of pre-school gymnastics & tumbling based on age. Each 45 minute class will operate with a 6 to 1 student to teacher ratio.
Mini Movers (16 months—3 year olds): This parent-child class is offered to children ages 16 months to 3 years and focuses on movement. Each week students will learn skills such as climbing, rolling, jumping, crawling, swinging & sliding as well as basic gymnastics terms and skills. With the help of mom or dad your instructor will build a strong foundation in athletics for your child.
Tiny Tumblers (3 year olds): This 3 year old class will allow your child to attend class alone now. These athletes will learn forward and backward rolling, jumping in different body positions & rolling on the bar as well as the beginning steps of primary gymnastics skills like handstands & cartwheels. This class will prepare your child to learn more advanced gymnastics and tumbling skills.
Fantastic Flippers (4-5 year olds): Our Fantastic Flippers will learn primary gymnastics skills such as handstands, cartwheels, forward & backward rolling, pullovers & pull-ups as well as gymnastics terms that will help them understand how to keep themselves safe and healthy in sports. The skills learned in our Fantastic Flippers class will help prepare our students for any athletic avenue they decide to pursue.
Super Stars (advanced 4 & 5 year olds): Our Super Stars class is for 4 & 5 year olds who have mastered most skills in our Fantastic Flippers Program, but are not quite ready for a Level 1 gymnastics class. Super Stars will focus on handstands, cartwheels, backward rolling, pullovers & pull-ups. They will also move part of their class into the “big gym” using the Olympic size beams & bars and will also learn gymnastics terms that will help them understand how to keep themselves safe and healthy in sports. This is an invitation only class.
